Biography
Jered Diego "JD" Linares completed his B.S. in biomedical engineering, taking an extra year to also
major in
computer
science. He learned biomedical research through summer research at the University of Chicago. Next,
he
continued on to medical school and then matched to a residency in internal medicine at the
University of
Illinois Hospital. He finished his training with a fellowship funded by the National Institutes of
Health where he developed a deep appreciation for advanced analytics. After medicine and academia,
he
transitioned to business with a medical device startup and an M.B.A. at Northwestern University. He
began his consulting career at McKinsey and Company.
